In our mission to build the new ERDAS APOLLO catalog for the last release, the team was faced with some challenging requirements.  The cataloging engine needs to be able to handle massive amounts of data while providing a very precise level of security for the data, and it needs to have extensible interfaces so it can mesh with other applications....

Algorithm is a technology that was originally developed by Earth Resource Mapping Ltd. for use with ER Mapper Pro.  Since ERDAS purchased Earth Resource Mapping in 2007, we have been working to integrate this core technology of ER Mapper into IMAGINE....
